Anyone who deliberately puts the life of an RNLI volunteer in danger or damages an RNLI vessel should face a prison sentence.

Tbh the thing about the “gen z boss and a mini” video is that it shows that basically every culture war “solution” from the left is kinda delusional because like, people ar voting for Trump because they think the democrats are behind an Australian skincare brands marketing video

As I write this tweet, Nigel Farage is probably getting filmed doing something even more incriminating to receive an illegal donation.

I think Nigel Farage should resign and run in another by-election over this.

The bar for progressive policies is: "did this unilaterally solve the entire gigantic systemic issue without making a single person sad?" The bar for conservative policies is: "did the people pushing this yell out the name of a real problem before doing something unrelated, cruel and ineffective?"

The fact that this is a film about the entire american population being forcibly tattooed by a Christian extremist government and is ultimately about the central couple deciding that its a pretty good idea instead of leading a violent uprising is pretty telling of the Current Age

The final season of the UK is going to see Count Binface elected in Clacton, then go on to be the first person best placed to lead a centre/left coalition to keep out Reform after the 2029 election, only to take the bin off to reveal Keir Starmer.

While it appears that the government has successfully pushed back on some particularly harmful elements in the previous draft, the new Code of Practice will still lead to the exclusion of trans people from services and facilities that they have used without issue for a very long time. [1/5]

good morning. thought I would share some writing advice that I've found useful over the years. hopefully it will resonate 🙏
WRITING TIPS (GENERAL)

1) Costume is Key - optimal writing outfits are: boiler suit (green); wedding dress (any colour); nude

2) *Never* Kill Your Darlings - maiming them will do

3) "Write every day" - INSUFFICIENT!! Write every second or don't waste my f***ing time

4) "Only misery can inspire great art" - CORRECT! Cut personal ties, sack off hobbies, treats are forbidden. There is only The Work

5) Make sure your formatting is uniform

6) If someone rejects your work, they are also rejecting you. They think that you, personally, suck. And do you know what? They're right

7) Have fun with it!

“UNCOMPLICATED MUSICAL SUCCESS MONTAGE”.

[Another scene - a man is saying to Henry]:

MAN:
Say Henry VIII -
Are you doing anything outside this narrative that is very bad or weird?

HENRY VIII:
No.

If Rudy is on the way out it's only fair that we remind ourselves of this, the funniest thing that has ever happened. People are sometimes gaslit into being told that finding this amusing is "cringe" or "resist lib" and that is wrong. It was an absolute, cast iron, day of absolute hilarity.
