BREAKING: Becca Good and Brent Ganger, the partner and brother of Renee Good, are suing the Trump administration after ICE murdered Renee earlier this year. Like every person murdered by ICE, Renee should be alive. Renee’s family was robbed of what every American family deserves: To be together.

A #WarOnWalking. A war on biking. A war on public transit. A war on any transportation choice other than driving. A war on better cities. But a war on cars? Hardly. Cars still get most of the space, rights, budget, prioritization, etc. And any effort to add more choice is immediately attacked.

Bike/pedestrian networks don't take 30 years to build. Stop accepting those timelines in your community. The best practices have been proven & they already exist. Safety should already be the #1 priority. The ROI is unbeatable. The timeline is a moral document and it shouldn't be generational.

When it comes to road safety, cities have two choices: Adapt kids to traffic: keep them indoors and drive them everywhere. Or adapt traffic to kids: make streets safe enough to move as autonomous members of society. The choice says a lot about the kind of city we want to build. youtu.be/O_WjWRmQwtg

A week's worth of groceries, including two boxes of formula by bike? No, you don't need a car for that, just some enabling infrastructure and a bike designed for the task. We don't expect everyone to live this way, but we do expect cities to enable the decision if people make it.
