perhaps little-known is that Vangers (1998) is part of the same narrative continuum as the game Perimeter (2004), also by K-D Lab. i've posted about it before, but the story is genuinely fascinating. a lot of depth was lost in translation, but has been restored to an extent in a recent Steam patch.
