I miss the hubris of old game ads where they’d try to sell a new mascot platformer by showing, like, a dead sonic or lara croft’s skeleton beneath a looming shadow with the tagline “Skippy's coming for you next Mario, and he's gonna EAT your ASS (which has a different meaning in this current era)!”
