More Artoirel wearing nothing but the coat Those furry Ishgardian coats are so unsexy normally it's very funny to me.

Three sketches of Artoirel de Fortemps from Final Fantasy XIV wearing his fur trimmed coat and nothing else. Hoewever there is no visible nudity.

if you're gonna not catch that wretched egg, at least you can look cute while you [don't] do it

sam, a pale elf with shaggy ginger hair, and syldra, his chocobo, stand on the bridge over the river of sand in amh araeng. they are looking at one another. both of them happen to be purple (sam's shirt, syldra's feathers) with black feet (sam's thighboots, syldra's... feet). streudel the ferret is perched on sam's right shoulder.

i attempted a little (non-exhaustive) collage of heavensward women for #xivwomenweek! (apologies for the wonky scan!)

A sketch page in pencil of various women characters and locations from Heavensward: Utata, Stacia, Radlia, Mide, Ysayle, Matoya, and Tataru’s silhouette in the centre.

day 30 - vestige to be loved is to be changed. #ffxivwrite2026 #xivwrite magnificat anima mea domina | gen | 464 words | #HerringMage archiveofourown.org/works/93582856

Given the breadth of expertise and materials available in the Musica Universalis stalls, it was easy enough to find a length of black fabric of a suitable size and shape for his task. Thancred, the first time he saw Sam wearing it, had raised a knowing eyebrow but had remained blessedly silent on the matter. Alisaie, too, had stared suspiciously. Mercifully, she had not found an opportunity to corner him about it.

In case this is helpful for anyone else, I tried to get a list together of all the limited time events that are running (or about to run) in FFXIV right now. Jeez, that's a lot. 😵‍💫

Kit (B'alith):

I think this is the sequencing of what's currently running or about to run:
Yo-kai Watch: Aug 4 - Oct 5
Mogtomes: Sep 9 - Oct 19
FF15 crossover: Sep 24 - Oct 13
Fall Guys: Oct 7 - Oct 27
(and then somewhere in there will be All Saints' Wake, too)

Lil' snip of something that probably won't turn into a longer fic, but it popped fully-formed into my head earlier and I needed to get it down. Sometimes the most romantic thing you can do for your introvert partner is leaving him alone for a few hours. 😄 #ffxivwriters #ffxivfanfic

"If you don't have other plans already, the two of you should consider stopping by Mih Khetto's to take a look at the Valentione's Day decorations. I think G'raha in particular will enjoy what they've got planned for this year—I heard something about a lot of very large cakes when I walked past the Amphitheatre earlier?"

"That's a wonderful idea." Deryk looked to G'raha and favored him with an affectionate smile. "Perhaps there are some minor tasks that could use an extra helping hand or two, especially from someone with a flair for frosting."

G'raha's ears flicked in embarrassment and his cheeks went pink, but the satisfied smile that tugged at the corners of his lips suggested a sense of pride at the acknowledgement of his baking skills. He had thrown himself into his new hobby with all the enthusiasm of the scholar he was, and though B'alith's lack of a sweet tooth meant the fruits of his lover's efforts often went to his neighbors instead, the display of giddy excitement warmed his heart nonetheless.

"Will we see you and Zhai'a there later?" G'raha asked.

B'alith shook his head. "He's out with Y'mhitra right now. She said something about a belated surprise for his nameday when she came by earlier, so I suppose it's not completely out of the realm of possibility, but I got the distinct impression she had something else in mind."

"What about you, then?"

"Much as I enjoy the company of you all, I have been feeling a distinct lack of my own space." B'alith grinned, and gestured to the tray he'd been loading up with small bowls of food, a teapot, and a single cup. "I," he declared triumphantly, "am going to spend the day basking in having my apartment entirely to myself."

what if there's a little bit of sam's esteem living in the focus stone of coultenet's ringbands e.e. cummings but cranked up to -eleven- four hundred thousand #HerringMage

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart).

absolutely delighted by this wonderful piece from @painnington.bsky.social of sam relaxing a little, for once, with coultenet. thank you so much! to borrow from ilya kaminsky, it is good for this beloved fish to have someone with whom he can sit in water. #HerringMage

sam, an elf with pale skin and freckles and a beard, sits in a deep bath of steaming water with his arms crossed, reclining against coultenet, an elf with chin-length blonde hair. they are bathing and coultenet, with a big smile, is helping sam to wash the grime and road out of his coppery, shaggy hair. near sam's ankle is streudel, a cream-colored ferret, mostly submerged and content with a little folded towel on her head. the overall mood is soft and romantic.

DAN KNOWS I HAVE NEEDS!!!! #ART

Words cut out from religious abstinence and marriage books are pasted onto background black and white image of a man throwing a fishing net from his sailboat. The text reads, "Lord, I have needs in my physical body, for bangers and mash with a smutty rugged fisherman. Deep in my trout fillet. Old sea dogs congregate, thousands of eyes look on us. Greetings to all the men. It's like I finally get what sex is about, Dan said."

Day 28: On Thin Ice Thought about taking the prompt literally and about my good friend Stephanivien. There was more to these thoughts, but I have none time to write them so maybe I'll come back to this next month lmao ellipsus.com/read/ct7PJ5u...

The winters had always been harsh in Coerthas – never as bad as the days that her people knew not were coming in their futuure, but harsh nontheless. The lakes and rivers froze over, fields were blanketed in thick layers of snow, and the winds whipped down off the mountains. Every child grew up with the knowledge of the dangers of the winters.

All of those warning had gone from his mind, though, as Stephanivien ran away from his sister, laughing as he chased her with a snowball.
