This is devastating. Sam Kieth is an artist whose work made such an impression, for many of my generation the first exposure to art that seemed weird and fucked-up and also way better than everybody else. The Maxx letter pages are also filled with adolescent SA survivors saying the comic helps

Justified pals: Unless you're a big Leonard buff, you might not know that there was a made-for-Showtime movie in the mid-90s whose climax is the opening of the show. Raylan is played by James LeGross, who plays Wade Messer in Justified. The movie, Pronto, is based on the novel of the same name.

Been watching Tim and Eric Awesome Show, like the whole thing not just clips on YouTube. Man. It's inspiring. These guys made something so influential and good that was also so amateur and bad. And all 4 of those things are things an artist should strive for.
