Tadaaaaa! I've written another one. They keep paying me to make bad jokes guys!!! Terms of Attachment comes out in May next year and is a second chance, fake dating, reality tv romcom between two people who are still desperately in love with each other despite best efforts.

In a definitely not badly photoshopped image (it is), Hux "holds" a copy of Terms of Attachment by Lizzie Huxley-Jones. Their face is wide eyed and mouth open with surprise and excitement. Ffion and Matt won the nation’s favourite reality dating show, tying the knot in front of millions of viewers.

There’s just one problem: they broke up four months later, and their contracts mean they have to keep it under wraps until the reunion episode airs.

Between public appearances, a family celebration and a weekend away sharing a room, the line between what’s for the cameras and what they really want begins to blur.

Pretending to stay together is one thing. Pretending they don’t still love each other is another . . .

Public executions were not abolished out of tenderness towards the criminal. They were abolished because of the effect on the people watching, and the dangers of making human death a source of commercial entertainment. Here's Charles Dickens in The Times, after witnessing an execution in 1849.

The Home Office refused twice as many student visas on the first half of 2026 as they previously, while halving the % of visa rejections universities can have before they're not allowed to ti recruit international students. Are those refusals on good grounds? Oh no, not at all.
