Excited to share that our latest story on #microtubule conformation controlling cell #signaling is now out in NCB! We show that microtubule expansion by taxane chemotherapeutics releases microtubule bound GEF-H1 which in turn activates RhoA/ROCK signaling. ✨ www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Here is the full clip of an embryonic myeloid cell transiting from inside to outside of an explant. It's one of my most favorite clips. Note how the nucleus 🔵 is squeezed right at the tissue boundary, and the myosin signal 🔴 goes from rearward to randomly distributed. How cool? #FluorescenceFriday

Immune cells are fascinating 🤩 . Here, an embryonic myeloid cell (pre tissue-resident mac) ( 🔴 ) is seen in its (almost) natural tissue environment ( 🔵 ) of ectodermal cells. The cell is in a 2.5D-3D environment and looks it is being "swallowed up" by the surrounding cells 😁. #FluorescenceFriday.
