Last day of #EdsSensualSeptember and I'm sliding in with the Week 4 prompt of Mirror and choosing the colour of pink, with the fabric of velvet! Hope you've enjoyed the last few weeks of sensuality! #SensualSeptember #TheVillainsArt #OFMD #OFMDfanart #OurFlagMeansDeath #SensualEdvents

Digital illustration of Ed Teach from Our Flag Means Death posed lounging in a large bed with rumpled sheets. He is facing away from the viewer, with his buttocks and back on display, while holding up a small hand mirror to peek back at the viewer. Next to him is a large leopard, also lounging, but looking back over it’s shoulder towards the viewer. The image is painted in monochrome greys with Ed’s tattoos highlighted in white and. The leopard is hot pink with white whisker highlights. The ends of Ed’s hair in a messy bun and blushes across Ed’s bum and cheeks are hot pink. Behind Ed is a cascade of curtains with a star lantern suspended above Ed’s face and illuminating the frame with a yellow glow. The mirror in Ed’s hand has a yellow frame and in the image, Ed’s yellow eye can be seen. The leopard also has yellow eyes.

It's Lucky Strike Ed and Stede's first night on the run. They've stopped at a fleabag motel. But you'll never guess what, my dudes? There was only one bed #WipWednesday

Ed tosses his bag unceremoniously on the bed.

Bed. Singular.

He turns to Stede who, judging by the way he is standing frozen in the doorway, seems to have just had the same realisation.

"Stede? Is this okay? I could go back and get us another room, if you'd be more comfortable?"

Stede blinks. "Oh no, it's fine." His eyes dart to the bed, to Ed, back to the bed.

"You're sure, mate?"

"Mmhmm," Stede squeaks.

"Yeah… see, I don't believe you. You've got this whole fight or flight thing going on right now," Ed says, gesturing to the entirety of Stede. "Wanna talk about it?"

Stede seems to deflate, all at once. "Sorry. I just, um… I don't know what you… well, expect of me?"

"Expect?"

"Yes, because… well, we kissed, and so —"

"Oh whoa, okay. Stede, can we sit for a minute?"

Long story short: I’m an asylum seeker in France now. I don’t know how long this process will take, but for I still can’t officially work here. So I’m looking for any opportunity to earn money to be able to pay for rent and food. Please, read and share this post ❤️‍🩹 ko-fi.com/illustory

WE NEED HELP
Please, read and share this!
(text version of the pics above)
We are a group of queer artists, and we are in big trouble.
In April 2025, we immigrated to France, seeking a safe place to live and make art.
Our humanitarian visas expired a year ago.
Since then, we have been trying to get legal status in France.
To be able to work, open a bank account, get health insurance and just have some basic human rights.
We spent a whole year fighting for our lives against Strasbourg Prefecture and we lost.

All this time we couldn't properly work, so we were burning our savings.
In August, all three of us were denied a residence permit.
According to the Prefecture, the only option for us To stay legally in France is to become asylum seekers.
About a week ago, we sent out our applications for the asylum.
Now we are looking at another indefinite stretch of time, before we are summoned to Paris for interviews.
It might be two months, three months, half of a year or even more... no one knows for sure.

We had planned for a year without documents max, and now it's been a year and a half already.
No matter how hard we tried to stretch our savings, they have run out.
Currently, we don't have enough money to pay for rent and food in November.
It's hard for me to admit that, but we are in huge trouble, with all our hopes and plans ruined by the French bureaucracy.
We really need your help and every little bit matters, so I came up with some options for how you can support us.
