Last night's clouds were like a proper blanket. And I felt like someone was laying down above me as if in a hammock in the 1st pic. It was quite an odd shape!

Tell your age in 3 technologies you saw appear/disappear: - at university I saved my coursework on both 5.25" and 3" floppy disks - I used to make mix tapes from the radio on an old cassette player - my first games console played 3 different iterations of Pong and looked like this:

So, today was baking day. My daughter asked for a cake that looked like an orange but tasted like a lemon, and vice versa. Blimey it was confusing! At one point the orange buttercream went on the cake that looked like the orange, despite that being the lemon one 🤦‍♀️. My head was spinning!! 😵‍💫🥴🤣.

I have just eaten something tantalisingly labelled "orange cake". But quite evidently, nowhere near 40 oranges were used in its creation. In fact they may have been forgotten altogether because I couldn't actually taste orange at all! Never has a piece of produce been so profoundly mislabeled.

I am old. My first games console looked like this and had various iterations of pong, named after different sports. But the game that got me completely hooked was Adventure! It was a puzzle/exploration game to find a chalice on the Atari console. It was incredible at the time.

Grandstand games console where different versions of pong were named tennis (standard pong), squash (single player against 1 solid wall), and football (multiple paddles on each side that moved as a block). I loved it!

Scene from Adventure. A proper exploration game. Moving off screen into different rooms or locations was fascinating. Find the chalice! Locate the key! What's that dragon? Ouch! It was truly wonderful.

Lego Ed and Stede had a lovely holiday with me in Norway. They explored Oslo, took a scenic train to Flåm, climbed up to a waterfall, and went on a modern boat ride to Bergen where they enjoyed the harbour. It's so good that they could come along!

Visited a maritime museum on holiday. So many tall ship models! One of them was only a few years older than the Revenge. We also saw a model of the tall ship sitting in Bergen harbour. Lego Ed and Stede were salivating over it and I feared they wanted to take it for a spin...

I opened a box today of clothes memorabilia going back to my student days. Some I'd made, some I just loved. But guess the colours of my favourite outfits? Yup. Purple and teal. It was nice proof I've always loved those colours! And like all my Ed and Stede memorabilia was made just for me 💜🩵

I haven't done art since primary school. I'm old! I've never tried to draw a person. I've just spent 5 minutes trying to draw Ed for #DrawEdTeach weekend. Yes it was going to be a stick man! Stede and Ed had a lovely time getting back on the water this afternoon 😁🌊 (yes, I spent my morning making a paper boat for the co-captains to sail around our paddling pool in. I'm very proud of it). It's surprisingly sturdy in a gust of wind but goes backwards as often as forwards 🤣

Home made paper boat (orange) in a paddling pool,with 3 sails supported by straws. The design on the front sail is Ed's snake tattoo, on the central sail is a flagpole with the crew's 'pilot' flags, plus a lighthouse flag for Stede and a Kraken flag for Ed. Rear sail has a teacup and lavender design. Lego Ed and Stede are in the boat.

The same boat as in the other picture, more head on. When I said homemade I meant "rough and ready, as if a young child had made it". But it was me 😂
