With incredible timing we got a sunset rainbow directly over the inn site 😍 You can see the inn site by the white plaque on the bench that’s reflecting the sun.

Apparently I am not letting go of Innkeepers Week, so the boys are getting a short epilogue. It is currently longer than the whole rest of the fic 😂 Anyway my first #WIPWednesday 😂

Stede punctuated this by slamming his book shut without even marking his page, a course of action usually reserved for those times when Ed slid into his lap, or toyed with his curls, or, well, you get the idea...

“Much improved since our first visit. Private quarters with fresh flowers, excellent dinner service, guy at front desk still jangles a lot of keys idk why there’s just the one room but overall a nice stay. Waves make a unique slappy slappy sound here, Innkeeper insists that’s normal for the region”

“Inn was glorified shed. “Room” just a slice of dining room separated by blue cushion. Haunted nightly by angry feller with pompadour. String in my porridge. Snake was tender, tea was sweet. Chef said if I didn’t like he’d cut out my eyeballs.” 2/5 stars

Happy final day of #InnKeepersWeek!

Photo of a crocheted house, yellow with a brown roof with two embroidered black spots on the roof to represent the holes in it. The house has simple windows and a door embroidered on it, along with lines for posts running from the floor to the roof. There is some brown dirt and two little bushes in front, it’s sitting on a background of fabric with light and dark green and tannish leaves

100 word story that says:

“Made you this," Ed says. He leans forward in his chair to place something on the porch rail, back cracking with the stretch. It was a long day of helping Stede nail boards over holes in the floor and his body felt every swing of the hammer. But now they had a solid foundation.

"Ed! I didn't know you crocheted!" Stede exclaims, delicately turning the object over in his hands. "Ah, the holes in the roof!"

"It's not perfect," Ed insists, unsure if he means the actual inn or his tiny recreation of it.

"No," Stede agrees, "but it's home."

Room had too many wardrobes, a full library, and a tiny bed. Hosts a bit weird and inattentive (except to each other). Outside a bit meffy, could do with cleaning up the seagull shit. Bring your own food if you don't like marmalade. ⭐⭐⭐

@innkeepersweek.bsky.social #innkeepersweek Frenchie had an idea for the inn to sell "Poste-cards" to guests. Stede asked Lucius for his help but deemed his designs too lewd, so they went with Frenchie's designs. Ed loves the bell, and the keys. Well, the key. (There is still only one room). #ofmd

Small embroidery of innkeepers Ed & Stede.
Also in the frame are (2) chandeliers, a lighthouse painting, hanging seaglass decorations, a tabletop bell, a large key, a book and quill, a plant and Frenchie's latest moneymaking idea.
