The thing about that assertion is absolutely everything trains ai scrapers. If you're still posting images online but alt text is where you draw the line, instead of, oh, nightshading that image, then it's not about thwarting ai. You just don't think disabled people are worth your time.

Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!

Nic Cage:
He continued: “How do you survive AI? Amazon is a very AI friendly company to the tune of 50 billion dollars invested to OpenAI. I am not an AI friendly actor. I didn’t sign the waiver to let them use AI on Spider-Noir. It’s kind of like I’m probably not going to be working with that studio again. But that’s OK. So I got to get with these young directors who are Gen Z and they’re going at it their own way, whether it’s through the YouTube culture or whatever it is. They’re doing it from scratch and by hand. I want to get with that.”

I saw the most amazing hyper local Halloween decoration today on Willow Street in #Somerville on the way to #HONK!
Two skeletons, one in a bucket hat and a scarf with a Market Basket bag, the second with a fedora, tie, and copy of a haunted newspaper, stand on either side of a sign in the style of the MBTA reading "GHOUL SQUARE Green Line All Trains --- Trains arrive every 80-10 years ---"A skeleton in a beret with a trumpet {doot doot} above a poster reading "Welcome to HAUNTED HONK! Festival of bewitching brass and bones". Nearby a small cat skeleton in an Uncle Sam hat sits below a political sign reading "VOTE RATTLEPAWS Fright Path Mayor. Your choice defines tomorrow ... AND ETERNITY"
