I vouch for DuckDuckGo. Been using it as default on all devices/browsers for years. Switching is easy, and I've never noticed a difference in quality of search/browsing. They recently added optional 'AI' but they provide noai.duckduckgo.com (set as default search) to proactively disable all of it.
