More lil guys for Doodle Wasteland

Apparently I felt a bit horny yesterday, I should have drawn instead of shitposting. Social medias drain creative energy by rerouting it toward easy immediate venting. It was like that for blog posts back in the days, it took away book crafting energy to sent it into blog posts.

btw I also got some prints of the original star stag and some other digital work made up! It's been a bit hectic lately with an exhibition deadline and whipping up ceramic work for market prep so I've been slowly chipping away at documenting and uploading stuff to the online store.

A work in progress featuring a black clay ceramic creature with a long tail and single white horn. White underglaze brushed over it is being carved away to shape its eyes, stripes, and other markings. It rests on foot on top of a log.

Found some neat textured plastic in the trash outside. Was the lid of a printer. It will be perfect for industrial terrain. :3 (minis from @n13e86.bsky.social )

There should be real researches in transition technologies and techniques, like for space exploration the results can only benefit society and side applications will also benefit some cis people.

I like that in the sci-fi channel show The Ark, all the villains are different trillionairs who have set up exploitative systems in space.

The bestselling superhero comic book in the world right now, which has been shattering sales records for almost two years, is a Batman series where Bruce Wayne is a working-class municipal engineer and the Joker is a billionaire philanthropist who lives in a mansion overlooking the city.

I am excited to play Changed Stars tonight. We have been struggling to reach a good table dynamic during the first 2 sessions but I have a good feeling for tonight. :) Some campaigns are like Star Trek TNG, they take a bit of time to warm up.

My undead warband in Mordheim. a vampire lord, 2 vampire girlies, a dredge archer, a sorcerer guy, a skaven mercenary, and bunch of ghouls & zombies. My vampire lord lost an eye but he don't care, the sorcerer is now twitchy and one of the ghouls lost an arm, but beside that we are doing fine.

An escher Ganger pinup miniature. She wears yellow, purple, and black gang leathers as well a a leopard print stocking. She has one leg up on an ammo crate. Her red hair is in four enormous ponytails. A plasma pistol hangs casually from her left hand & a chainsword (in zebra print) is slung onto her shoulder.

A side view, focusing on the pistol and booty

My mysterious tgirl tagger is back at it and I loled when I saw her tag this morning. Since I am also always tag ready with my acrylic marker, I gave her a word of encouragement. 🤘 That cheered me up (a rare thing). 😊

Skink, with me adding T4T forever and a cat doodle

Morning, today I am working on Doodle Wasteland. I think it is important for me to publish this alongside Doodle Land as together these two zines represent a forgotten undercurrent of OSR history. I want there to be traces out there of what we were doing back then in the shadow of bigger players.

Today was really difficult, I don’t like feeling that much discouraged. I keep trying to remain functional but the weekends are extra difficult. I hope that the work I still managed to do this past week will help me finish things this week. But I can’t be just work, I need some affection too.

When I was a kid my dad was working in a factory and he took accounting books from work to draw me stories in them, he also used them to do scratch booking with me and gluing on the pages some of my own drawings too. I think I have 10 of those books, they are treasures to me now.

Oh something positive: This afternoon playtest of Orbital Megastructure with 3 players, ran super smoothly. Was fun and easy to GM. ✨ I just need to find the willpower to finish writing the damn text that go around the rules. If I could just stop alternating between being stressed and depressed. 🫤

I am reading Lancer, and the lore section like to fill pages with words but there is not that much that is directly actionable by the GM or players in there. I feel like it could have been presented in a more practical way. Not bad but often it feel like reading about someone else campaign. Idk.

What I am currently working on. Main priority - Orbital Megastructure - Doodle Wasteland - The Music Box (Mothership) Second priority - On Silent Wings - Nano cryptids (CY_BORG)

La Grande Procession de Halloween on RPG Trader

Thanks to Nicolas who translated one of my adventures in French. It is kind of sad that I never wrote adventures in my own language. But I know that a lot of RPG writers outside the US relate to that. Enfin en Français, mon aventure La Grande Procession. rpgtrader.com/products/977...
