We killed an ENTIRE FLU with bandanas and going shopping less. The flu could kill me but I assume you don't want the flu, either. With improved HVAC systems, we don't even need to go shopping less. A better world is possible with collective effort.

This decision is antithetical to public health. COVID-19 in pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester, is extremely dangerous and aside from the elderly infants younger than 6 months have the highest risk of hospitalization from COVID. They are critically dependent on maternal antibodies.

#SAEM25 was such a lovely and strange mix of emotions. It is devastating to see very senior experienced researchers lament not knowing how to pay the bills for their research programs after fascists took their money. But it lifted me up to see them completely undeterred from doing the work anyway.
