People were upset when the government tried to position AIDS as an equal-opportunity disease in the 1980s. They’re at it again with an HIV plan that doesn’t mention the key populations at higher risk, incl gay men, trans women, Black & Latino people, sex workers, PWID, homeless. What’s the point?

This summer, I celebrated with friends whose three-year-old was cured of hepatitis C acquired at birth. It felt like a miracle made possible by science. Millions of people still cannot access cure, and being cured does not protect someone from reinfection. bktitanji.substack.com/p/we-still-n...

This is really important news. Multi-dose vials are incredibly useful for ease of access and vaccine delivery in low income settings. I made this summary for myself to avoid toggling between the 2011 staph aureus IDSA guidelines and part 1 of the latest IDSA/ESCMID consensus statements. FYI I used an AI tool to compare both documents then proofed it by reviewing the relevant sections flagged as different to make this table.
