Fuck ChatGPT flyers. The future is broadsheets.
A crowded broadsheet with way too many fonts. It says:
Forget ChatGPT Flyers
Say it with
Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands
(They're called manicules!)
Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future

Applying for jobs after 40:
Monologue by Rochester from Jane Eyre:

"Yes, yes, you are right," said he; "I have plenty of faults.of my own: I know it, and I don't wish to palliate them, I assure you. God wot I need not be too severe about others; have a past experience, a series of deeds, a colour of life to contemplate within my own breast, which might well call many sneers and censures from my neighbours to myself. I started, or rather (for, like other defaulters, I like to lay half the blame on ill-fortune and adverse circumstances) was thrust on to a wrong tack, at the age of one and twenty, and have never recovered the right course since; but I might have been very different; I might have been as good as you-wiser-almost as stainless. I envy you your peace of mind, your clean conscience, your unpolluted memory. Little girl, a memory without blot or contamination must be an exquisite trea-sure—an inexhaustible source of pure refreshment: is it not?'

5. Vaccination coverage has a lot of downstream effects. An outbreak pushes healthcare facilities, healthcare providers, and public health practitioners to the brink. 6. An outbreak can also have severe economic impacts.

3. Letting a pathogen spread uncontrollably increases the odds of a mutation that can make the thing more transmissible or deadly or what have you. 4. Vaccines are not equally effective in all people, but with a highly-vaccinated population, the pathogen is firewalled.

Why should you care if childhood vaccination rates are dropping in your community? 1. All kids deserve to be protected from vaccine-preventable disease. 2. There are people who can’t be vaccinated, such as babies who are too young. If everyone around them is vaccinated, they’re protected.

why does google suck now

Google search feels worse today because its core experience has been traded for ad revenue, clutter, and automated summaries. Several systemic changes have contributed to this decline:

YouTube
·Alex Falcone
 +2
Ad Clutter and Sponsoring: Top results are heavily dominated by pay-per-click ads and sponsored content, forcing authentic organic results further down the page.
AI Overviews: AI summaries frequently occupy the most prominent space above the search results, which can sometimes scrape and surface incorrect information instead of directing you to the original source.
SEO Gaming: A constant arms race between Google and websites optimizing for search engines means that many results are filled with affiliate links and keywords, rather than genuine, high-quality human content.
Reduced Discoverability: Google has heavily deprioritized exact-match boolean searches (like putting phrases in quotes) and natural language queries, meaning it hides the niche human-written content you are actually looking for.

seo2.onreact.com
 +5
If you are frustrated with the current state of search, you can bypass the clutter by modifying your habits or trying alternative platforms:
Add "Reddit" to Queries: Many users rely on finding actual human discussions by appending site:reddit.com or just "reddit" to their search.
Try Privacy-Focused Engines: Alternatives like DuckDuckGo filter out the heavily bloated tracking and aggressive sponsored widgets.
Consider Paid Search Alternatives: Platforms like Kagi offer ad-free, premium search experiences designed to surface high-quality human content rather than SEO-farmed websites.
