“Dune” was translated into Hebrew by Emanuel Lotem, who passed away recently. Lotem left a deep stamp on SF&F in Israel, and while his style was sometimes cause for contention (as in his heavy re-editing of LOTR), it worked particularly well for “Dune”, one of the pinnacles of his career. >
