An annoying argument in favour of FPTP is the idea that any PR system breaks the connection between MP and constituency. This argument is exceptionally annoying given that the UK's closest neighbour, Ireland, has a PR system that is arguably too locally focused. www.qmul.ac.uk/mei/policy-h...

One Irish player has said he won't play Israel. Two others are believed to have the same view. Disgrace the players have been put in this position. FAI “postponed” training at 9.56am Hungary time. The press conference was scheduled for 10.15am. Training 11am. That has not happened.
