An awesome video about @zackpolanski.bsky.social's campaign in Holborn & St Pancras. No wonder Burnham is running scared.

“You were right about Palestine” - pensioners still getting arrested “We need to reform social care” - after 2029 “Water can be owned publically” - but he’s not nationalising it “Electoral system needs reform” - after the next election Do you see the pattern? He talks a good talk

Annakin and Padme meme template, with Andy Burnham pasted over the top of Annakin: "Something must be done" "Will you do something?" *silence*

And into the long grass it goes. This will be the third or fourth electoral reform commission of my lifetime. I don't want another one: I want primary legislation to do the groundwork, and a manifesto commitment to implement it as the incoming government's first act.

Govt minister Josh MacAlister claims unemployed young people are paid with PIP to be out of work. Except PIP isn't an out of work benefit, plenty of people who receive PIP are in work & PIP enables them to do that. Josh knows this. What hes doing is whipping up anger towards disabled people.

Hello fellow Labour enthusiasts and Andy Burnham lovers, I know it's a hassle, but while the conference is going on, Andy has asked me to just pop round and make sure everything is in order with your wallets. I'm sure it is, but if you could have them ready for inspection that would be great.

If anyone is struggling to understand how our media and politicians are still talking about an RAF Fairford "bomb plot" when there were no bombs found, then the Forest Gate raid in 2006 is a useful comparison en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_...
Photo taken by Netpol's campaigns coordinator in 2006 of the end of Lansdown Rd in Forest Gate, closed by police after a "bomb plot" terrorism raid led to the sealing off of the area for a week. One man was shot but fortunately survived – there was no bomb factory, yet the Kahar family were smeared by the media for weeks

The hard truth is we have implemented every centre-right nostrum, from slashing local government through conditionality of benefits to junking resilience measures for society and the economy - and as many predicted, it all turns out to be very costly in the long run.

If, as the scenario proposes, Britain has basically no functional military assets with which to defend itself and no real allies, why are so many located abroad? What is the 6th largest military budget in the world being spent on? Why are we America's vassal state?

Almost all—if not all—of the companies that produce the works I cover are problematic in one way or another. But in this case, we’re talking about the head of SpaceX, who let tens of thousands of CHILDREN die, so you might as well call off the space race under these circumstances. Let it sink in.

The only way you "get Britain on war footing" is to give people something worth fighting for and finally accept this is no longer a global power, and that that's good, actually. You build a state worth defending and military scaled For That, not "force protection" and training Saudis in warcriming
