I've seen a lot of "who even cares about the Kennedy Center" sentiments, and let me tell you: people who live here care. People who went to those shows, the people who performed there. It may be easy to write it off as a Broadway tour stop, but it was so much more than that.

I have started The Godfather 3 times in my life but only just finished it last night. The first time was in high school where a friend lent me his VHS and learned that I can't be trusted to borrow things (VHS was fine, but cardboard case was crushed). Hope I take less than 20 years to watch part 2.

Dry dog food. We had a huge container of dog food that was significantly easier to access than the few snacks my parents sometimes had available in the pantry. I didn't realize until much later when recalling this with a friend that this is something I maybe should have shared with a therapist.
