We have a mystery on our hands. In the last couple hours, the For Sale sign for our house has been removed. The house is still listed. No showings since put on the market 34 days ago. Was the sign stolen? Are they taking it off the market until next year? Stay tuned as we wait to learn more

This hasn’t made it to Bluesky yet but Mark Carney made a statement condemning the white supremacists who paraded around Kamloops on Sunday and targeted the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc community with offensive messages

The cowardly act that took place at Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc yesterday is abhorrent. It has no place in this country. My thoughts are with everyone who is shaken and hurt by this disgusting display of hate.

This week, we will mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a stark reminder of our shared responsibility to confront the devastating legacy of the residential school system and the consequences still felt today. Courageous Survivors shared the truth so that all Canadians could take up the work of reconciliation.

In addition, the NDP changed legislation so you can't be a local and provincial politician at the same time, after a Langley conservative politician tried to do both jobs in 2025. I've asked the Conservatives if they want to repeal that legislation. I'll let you know what they say on both fronts.

Funny news in White Rock: Mayor Megan Knight, who is seeking re-election, is also now running for the Conservatives in that provincial riding. The deadline for getting off the ballot has passed. So I've asked the Conservatives if Knight is going to tell folks not to vote for her locally.

If Eby had a functional majority, which many are claiming but isnt true, then why would he need to hold an election to save his job? It would have been safe. Unless, you know, the opposition was planning a nonconfidence vote to take advantage of NDP MLAs being out sick which eliminated that majority
