Sometimes, ADHD can help you with your tasks! I realized I had forgotten to turn off my desk lamp, so when I went back there, I thought, "If I'm here, I should clear off some of these overwhelming number of empty cans." Literally, just planning to do as much as I could carry one time.

I know why the movie theaters have 7PM start times for movies that they're only showing once a day. But this does not work for me when I have to travel extra, want to do a double feature, and I CAN'T because both movies have one showtime and it's the same time.

After walking around for hours in the rain and mud yesterday, I am pleased to say that my back feels pretty good! The soft ground was actually really good for not aggravating my sciatica. My calves are a different story. I know I was using them extra for balance in slippery mud, but OOF.

A movie conversation I am deeply over is some variation of "this character is the villain" or "who is the villain." Sometimes, people exist in a gray area, and they are neither a villain or a hero. Not every story is about good vs. evil.

I got a coffee from cinnabon (and also some cinnabon) and they sent me a bunch of little creamers. If I'm drinking a hot coffee, I don't put anything in it. But I am going to hang onto these for when I order an iced coffee and don't want to pay extra for a little oat milk.

Favorite: it changes from day to day. Top contenders are Acquisition, Breaking the Ice, Judgment, Carbon Creek, Similitude, Twilight. I even love a lot of hated episodes. You'll never convince me that Bounty or Bound are bad. Least Favorite: Cogenitor. I'd rather watch the finale.

My pick for movie club this week was Platoon. I don't watch a lot of war movies on my own, but there are obviously a lot of them on the Essential Movies poster. I probably would never have watched it otherwise, will probably never watch it again, but I'm glad I watched it.
