Hi. I wanted to explain something. If you see me posting my purchase links a lot it's because I have to. Almost all writers do at this point. Most publishers have shrunk or killed off their publicity departments, so we have to get the word out ourselves. That's the writing life in 2026.

Yesterday, NASA broke a record. The longest distance travelled by a vehicle on the surface of a world other than Earth. The Perseverance rover has now driven 45.22 km, beating the previous record of 45.16 km by the Opportunity rover. Perseverance did the distance in 5.5 years to Oppy's 15.

My daughter got inspiration for a pumpkin head photoshoot and, I think, did a pretty fantastic job at it. I helped her with the camera and did the post processing, but followed her and her brother's direction. Mia came up with poses.

The tower blocks the council put up in the 1960s only took a decade till they were so haunted, no-one wanted to live in them. It weren't just the broken lifts, the smell of piss in the stairwells, it was the ghosts that did for people. Spirits turned mean by the towers' design. Liv Green #VOH

I would say that part of the phenomenon is that Larry McMurtry's 1985 cowboy epic Lonesome Dove spent about a thousand pages describing great detail how 'traditional' masculinity will destroy you and everything you love and get your friends killed
