feeling this hard -- i am so glad that there is an actual conversation that's taking place around cornell, and that survivors coming forward isn't being dismissed as 'woke 1' or whatever the fuck. and it's also hard to ignore that we've been here before, in the recent past, and nothing changed.

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

ICE and the feds (with LAPD and LASD help) brutalized protesters days on end, in eyeshot of city hall, right outside city hall, and more. City leadership did not stand up. Bass did enact a curfew that didnt stop ice or police violence.

Forgot a pen today so I got to buy pens. My heart still belongs to the Pilot G-2 but I picked up a four pack of Sharpie S•Gels which I’m finding don’t bleed as much in my notebooks (which I might as well say are Leuchtturm1917 A5s hardcover black). Not crazy about the V5 feels like it’s gonna break.
