It's no coincidence that we now have a trillionaire and at the same time lower union participation than ever before. It's because the corporations that spit out billionaires and a trillionaire do everything they can to bust unions.

would hogwarts hire a velociraptor? do you have to let a vampire inside your home - if he's your landlord? is a cop who fights crime as a werewolf by night technically a K9 unit who - deserves overtime? if they become partners, can they literally go anywhere and pull over whomever they want?
its some guy from the atlantic asking "What about a pro-life ethicist whose work argues that abortion is murder, and who believes that bodily autonomy arguments do not override moral duties to the fetus? Would they be hirable in any Gender Studies department at any elite (non-religious) university in America?"

at once an innocent philosophical hypothetical, its also a trenchant question that goes to the heart of actually existing conditions in american colleges and universities in the year 2026

AGAIN: the #1 predictor of a mass shooter is violence against women. Cops perpetrate VAW at higher % (though exact # unknown ofc) than the gen population. At some point our culture must take seriously the fact that this is a real red flag. It requires hating women less, though.

I do think a big part of the “working class man” narrative IS that the working class doesn’t actually look like blue collar white men. It looks like immigrant nurse aids in nursing homes and bookkeepers like my grandma and every other area dominated by women, often women of color.

At 12:08 he said no boots on the ground. At 12:11 he said he did not want a ceasefire. At 12:16 he declared victory again. At 12:17 he asked for a ceasefire. At 12:23 he told NATO they were cowards. At 12:29 he said Iran was begging for a ceasefire. At 12:31 he said everything was perfect. At 12:36 he said $500 oil was a good thing. At 12:37 he demanded Iran open Hormuz. At 12:39 he said Hormuz was never closed. At 12:41 he said the US was not at war with Iran. At 12:42 he declared victory in Iran
