Defend the Right to Strike
The Liberals have repeatedly used Section 107 of the Canadian Labour Code to violate workers’ Charter-protected right to strike, caving to Big Business and throwing workers under the bus.

As soon as the attacks occurred on September 11, 2001, we designed this poster and began circulating it. We knew the attacks on the United States didn't come out of nowhere. And as the patriots waved their flags, we knew that it wouldn't be long before there were hundreds of thousands more dead.

And the really annoying part is that some of the underlying technical critique may, in fact, be relevant. Possibly even good. "Own your machine", local-first-ish instincts, anti-platform dependency, making Linux pleasant for normal humans. That's all fertile ground.

One of the worst post-9/11 trends is the widespread use of "first responder" as a category to lump together cops with doctors, nurses, EMTs, and firefighters— as if they're all the same thing.

The term "first responders" is a brilliant marketing tactic that blurs together all these professions into a single monolith. Grouping cops in with firefighters and nurses (who consistently rank as the most trusted professions) allows cops to benefit from the "halo effect" while ranking much lower.
