Attacks on trans women are attacks on women. I'm not sure why we don't see this. It will affect us on all levels of society. I will not have my womanhood policed, nor will I have others policed. Why do we not see this? Why do I even have to post that cis women are affected for cis women to care?

Improved toxicity detection

Our latest model aims to do a better job of detecting replies that are toxic, spammy, off-topic, or posted in bad faith. Posts that cross the line are down-ranked in reply threads, search results, and notifications, reducing their visibility while keeping conversations open for good-faith discussion.

It may look like data validation, but it is actually JSON decoding under the hood using System.Text.Json.JsonDocument APIs under the hood, I've made it for myself but I guess it would be worth sharing with others it may prove useful. #fsharp #dotnet #buildinpublic
A screenshot of some F# code that shows a json decoding library, the code is:

[<TestMethod>]
  member _.``JDeck can decode nested objects with optional properties``() =
    let addressDecoder =
      fun _ address -> result {
        let! city = address |> Required.property "city" Required.string

        and! country = address |> Required.property "country" Required.string
        and! zipCode = address |> Optional.property "zipCode" Required.string

        return {|
          city = city
          country = country
          zipCode = zipCode
        |}
      }

    let decoder =
      fun element -> result {
        let! name = element |> Required.property "name" Required.string
        and! age = element |> Required.property "age" Required.int
        and! status = element |> Required.property "status" Optional.string

        and! addresses =
          element |> Required.property "addresses" (Decode.array addressDecoder)

        return {|
          name = name
          age = age
          status = status
          addresses = addresses
        |}
      }
