I was excited to see it at first, but Graveyard Keeper 2 is bumming me out now. I don't know if I'm even going to finish it. It looked interesting and promising at first, but I've hit a point that is somehow both immensely grindy and very empty. Balance problems and dead-ends everywhere.

There's a Graveyard Keeper Twooooooooooo I'll be the first to admit the first game was very flawed, and felt incomplete even with several expensive DLCs. But dang if the core loop and lightly macabre weirdness didn't scratch the folds of my brain like it was made specifically for me.

I ate a peanut-butter and tuna-fish sandwich once. With pickle relish. I do not at all remember why. It actually wasn't all that bad. The sweet pickle relish wasn't considerably different from a tart jelly. I wouldn't make one on purpose to enjoy, but it'd be NBD as a dare.

Managed to get out to Coyote vs. Acme yesterday, right near the end of its local run, and I'm really glad we did. Enjoyed the story, the references and easter eggs, appreciated that they kept the same kind of comedy tone and pacing as the old cartoons it pulled from.

Got around to playing Mouthwashing a couple of days ago (so I could finish watching a video that would spoil it a little) and I can't stop thinking about it. In every respect, that is a game that does a LOT with a little, from the engine and graphics to the economical but very effective writing.
