Using causal ML and data from ~90,000 NHS patients, we found that only 31% received the treatment the algorithm identified as optimal. Recovery rates were 11 percentage points higher among patients with the strongest recommendations who received their indicated treatment. lnkd.in/e5Muc4BJ

Our new paper, led by @renatopolimanti.bsky.social and I, and published today in Nature Genetics, is the largest multi-ancestry GWAS of endometriosis to date including 1.4 million women, 105,869 cases, six global ancestry groups. Previous studies were almost exclusively European.

He discussed autism/vaccines with Jay Bhattacharya on his show in June saying “If the data are robust that vaccines don’t cause autism, then run a proper trial” (those studies have been done) and discounted the idea that the rise in autism diagnoses can be explained by changes in testing/criteria.

In sum: all global prevalence rates about gaming addiction/disorder seem to be a partial combination of both gaming *and* gambling prevalence. The same applies to other studies, which use gaming measures in relevant languages. Chinese seems to be a major exception.

Excited to share another recent paper from our group. This work provides proof of concept evidence for using an an accelerated HD-tDCS protocol targeting a lesion network site for hallucinations, which helped to relieve treatment refractory psychosis symptoms when medications weren't helpful.
