I have been a guest at conventions where, during the pre-con walk through, my handler has pointed out the bar and mentioned how some guests are "more fun" and "get asked back," then names only men. Because a lot of female guests aren't comfortable hanging out around alcohol with strangers.

In addition to being a writer and a filmmaker, I faff around a bit as a low-budget code-monkey and have been doing so for decades. In one week, I release upon this unsuspecting world my first browser game: Khaki Macaque and the Cross-Country Crime-Capade.
A cartoon macaque dressed in adventure khakis, posed in front of a distorted map of the US. The chiclet reads Coming Soon from Hellbender Media - Become the world's cutest - and most dangerous - little monkey. Rampage across the US, committing Atrocities and avoiding arrest. Or, be part of a gang in multiplayer mode. Stay tuned for this hilarious and subversive throwback-turned-party-game: Khaki Macaque and the Cross-Country Crime Capade.

Good lord. Good on the French! And once again, I'm noticing that the US news either isn't talking about citizen actions in France or is being very brief and vague about what the demands are. Eg, the Yellow Vest protests got only brief acknowledgement, then "cycled out". www.bbc.com/news/live/cm...

A police search of Flock producing 50 individual records of a woman's whereabouts across the country for an entire month violated her Fourth Amendment rights, Judge Sara E. Hill of Oklahoma's Northern District ruled yesterday. "Why is it the government’s business where everyone goes all the time?"

To be sure, ALPR technology does not provide the same precision in
location information as cell phones. But it could still reveal a lot about a
person’s whereabouts, and it is easy to imagine the kinds of sensitive
information it collects. It could track and log a couple struggling to start a family at the fertility clinic. It could show how often someone visits a liquor store or casino. It could show which doctor someone goes to or what lawyer’s office someone visits. It also collects mundane information about people’s commutes, but it collects a tremendous amount of such information all the time. It is possible that a dedicated team of law enforcement officers could

constitutionally collect this information about one car—and its driver—by following that vehicle on public roadways over a month. But this leaves the question of why is it the government’s business where everyone goes all the time? The government cannot go snooping through our personal lives and business without an adequate basis to do so. That is what the Supreme Court has said since its decision in Katz through its decision in Chatrie this year, nearly sixty years later. It is not too much to draw the line at indiscriminate mass surveillance.

Okay, gonna slightly nitpick here: The Arctic Blast gave you the option for a stream OR a blast, a huge tank you could put ice cubes in, and the quick-refill cap!
An image of the SuperSoaker Arctic Blast water gun. It is a beast, with a black hand-pump on the front to power the stream, which is released by an orange trigger out of an orange nozzle at the front, and the option to pull back a flat blue lever on the top to blast a short-range wide-spread spray of water. It is mostly putty-grey with blue sections and orange or black accents and is massive for a water gun; it covered most of your hand and you pointed it via holding a vertical black bar between the two sections of the water tank, on which the orange trigger was located, and pumped the nozzle at the front or pulled the blast lever on top with your other hand. I don't have the gun vocabulary to describe it too well, but I'm trying my best and just want to convey that this thing was an evolutionary apex in water guns, and one heck of a toy!

discovered a new Ed Teach-coded fragrance today whilst browsing a perfume counter. at first sniff, it's leather and almost almond-y, then gets sweeter but not in a cloying way. the floral notes, to me, are very subtle. Leather & cashmere, that's Ed Teach
a brown glass bottle of perfume called Primp & Pout niche parfum 1.7 fl oz by Poured New YorkPrimp & Pout is a polished yet playful fragrance where softness meets edge. Creamy tonka and billowy cashmere create a smooth, comforting foundation, layered with supple leather and the delicate brightness of lily of the valley. The result is elegant, tactile, and quietly confident—refined with just the right amount of attitude.

This fragrance balances innocence and intrigue with ease. Primp & Pout feels plush and inviting, yet elevated by unexpected contrast, making it a versatile scent that transitions effortlessly from day to evening.Fragrance Notes
