1. The independent Taskforce — commissioned by NHS England, backed by government — concluded ADHD is under-diagnosed, under-recognised and under-treated in the UK. Not over. The press has reported the reverse of the finding www.thetimes.com/uk/healthcar...

Opposition to Israel's genocide is currently a popular position, which is not reflected in the media. Poll people on the horrific crimes in Gaza since 2023 and they will tell you they condemn them. People are *much* less certain about condemning the whole Israel project, for a multitude of reasons.

This is a very good unhinged screed. I do really like the aspect that we probably shouldn’t be trying to consume perfectly.

Not, most importantly, actually being overdiagnosed according to the report that they’re covering. (As far as I’ve heard: I’ll read it later)

This tweet is highly defamatory and Martina Navratilova should be fired from BBC Sport for it. It demonstrates an horrendous level of hatred for a trans woman (who was cleared of all wrongdoing in a recent tribunal) because she is a trans woman.

Based on my experience living on a high frequency bus route, switching many services to electric buses solves most of the noise complaints immediately. It’s the poor design and soundproofing of low cost clanky diesel buses that is a prime issue

Honestly, I think we ought to ban eating and drinking in cars. No more cupholders making them 75cm wider, no more distractions, just a tin of boiled sweets in the glovebox that you’re allowed one of per 45 minutes once you leave the built up area.

I’ll be honest, I couldn’t really face the thought of thinking more about the situation we’re in, but impulse bought it, and of course I was wrong: It’s actually really helpful to have it laid out so clearly. It takes the weight of analysing where we are and why off your mind.
