4 panel comic

Panel 1:
A post from “kavishj9611” that reads:

“All the people who are anti-Al or want to slow Al progress, I have one question:
If Al disappeared tomorrow, could you still get through an entire workday without ChatGPT, Claude, or any other
Al tool?
Imagine Al was suddenly banned.
Would you actually be willing to give it up?”

Panel 2:
And Orange Guy and a Pink Guy are standing in a room that has two pipes in it. Both pipes are pumping raw sewage into the room. The characters are waist deep in it.
Orange Guy says smugly “Ok Mr “I don’t want to be in a room that’s filling up with raw sewage” let me ask you this”

Panel 3:
The sewage has reached their chests. Pink Guy is gagging. Orange Guy smugly continues “If all this sewage disappeared right now, could you get through the day without it?”

Panel 4:
The sewage is almost up to their eyeballs. Orange Guys says “Look at that shit floating past your face. Are you willing to give that up?”

I don't have a problem with having both moderates and progressive Democrats in Congress. I do have a problem when people collapse into a pile of wet noodles around fascism, and yet suddenly know how to pull every trick in the book to stop progressives.

I prefer progressives, but I would vote for a moderate who would actually use every tool in their tool chest to, uh, actually moderate the fascism that is happening over someone who said progressive words but needed to go on vacation and so votes for cloture.

There are legitimate concerns about antisemitism and other forms of bigotry with Darializa Avila Chevalier, for whom I wouldn’t have voted. By conflating her with Brad Lander, a proudly Jewish guy, the ADL is making those concerns harder to raise and easier to dismiss.

Hormonal contraception is a gift to human survival, capacity, & health on par with vaccines. But because it’s mostly women’s survival, capacity, & health that it preserves, the right’s attack on it isn’t seen as the anti-science, anti-human regression as the anti-vax campaign is. That’s a mistake.

My not-so-hot take is that what Mamdani is doing *IS* incrementalism, and the bar is so deeply in hell that a politician just doing *anything* good consistently is a total anomaly for people. And I think for now that is good and fine, because it is restoring people’s faith that better is possible.
A post from @matzollerseitz.bsky.social reads:

“So what I'm getting from this is, incrementalism is bullshit and we should just do the stuff that we say would be good for society”

And the post is quoting a post from @owillis.bsky.social that reads:

“They call him WIN-dani

Mamdani delivers promised rent freeze on 1 million rent-stabilized apartments https://www.politico.com/news/2026/06/25/mamdani-delivers-promised-rent-freeze-00977449”

It feels inhumane that you can’t opt out of commercials for addictive products. People should be able to one-click their way out of ever seeing ads for stuff like alcohol, drugs, and sports betting on apps and streaming services. This shouldn’t be controversial at all and should be very easy to do.

tumblr post by bumblebeebats

The crazy thing is, ninety-nine times out of a hundred, if you asked me on any given day "Would like to see a picture of some genitals?" my answer would be "😰 No, that's... No, thank you. I'm okay, actually." I have nothing but the utmost respect for people who do engage with the penis side of the internet, but personally, I've spent the better part of two decades doing all I can NOT to have pictures of dick and balls or sexy bikini babe buttcheeks blasted onto my retinas constantly. And yet... to be denied the penis? To have a jumped up pile of javascript tell me, a grown adult with an air fryer and an outstanding council tax bill, that I cannot be trusted to withstand the sight of a bare nipple unless I let it scan my drivers' license? I will move heaven and earth to see that fucking nipple, friend. I will walk a thousand miles barefoot on hot coals before I give you big brother bitches my passport number. A thousand miles through the desert with five VPNs just to press my face up against the glass and see the last uncensored picture of two My Little Pony Characters sixty-nining each other, and I don't even want! to look at it! But I will! I must! for the sake of our fucking democracy!

reject modernity (online r*pe academy), embrace tradition (the Beit Midrash telling a man to die)
engage in forbidden sexual intercourse, the Gemara notes that Rav Yehuda says that Rav says: There was an incident involving a certain man who set his eyes upon a certain woman and passion rose in his heart, to the point that he became deathly ill. And they came and asked doctors what was to be done with him. And the doctors said: He will have no cure until she engages in sexual intercourse with him. The Sages said:
Let him die, and she may not engage in sexual intercourse with him. The
doctors said: She should at least stand naked before him. The Sages said: Let him die, and she may not stand naked before him. The doctors suggested: The woman should at least converse with
him behind a fence in a secluded area, so that he should derive a small amount of pleasure from the encounter. The Sages insisted: Let him die, and she may not converse with him behind a fence.

He is risen
Star Trek The Search for Spock scene. Our Lord Spock is pictured in a white robe. He stands surrounded by his shipmates who are all older here than they were in the TV show. Sulu is smiling and touching Spock's chest for some reason. Uhura, Chekov, Scotty, and Bones stand close and all seem thrilled to see him, but are otherwise practicing self control and not feeling his chest.

Despite being surrounded by friends, Spock is staring only at Kirk, for obvious reasons.
