I'm still disproportionately miffed that the cowards at Letterboxd got rid of this screamingly demented alternate cover for Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.

A tonally inappropriate Letterboxd alternate cover for the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me that depicts a peppy, upbeat blue sky with clouds with Sheryl Lee smiling as Laura Palmer. It also has upbeat stylized typeface suggestive of a 1990s romcom.

Letterboxd got rid of this alternate cover, and that's ridiculous.

Just as an exercise at work I'm helping some students re-edit a scene from Browning's Dracula (1931) with a more modern pace & sound. But what's striking is how different the visual grammar is - we keep looking for a medium shot to cut to, or a reaction shot and it was simply not a set up they did
