Wow you got one! Very nice! Still on my want list for sure. For top shelf Friday, I will also go with a new pick up. Weird Science #5 from January 1951. I always liked this cover by Al Feldstein, and I was able to get it cheap due to the well loved nature of its condition.

Awesome pickup, huge congrats! I’ve found the longer a book’s on the list, the better the day when it arrives. For #TopShelfFriday I’m sticking with the monster theme. Here’s my well read (maybe even nibbled on?) copy of Amazing Adventures Vol 1 #5 (1961), and Monsteroso!

Photo of the comic Amazing Adventures Volume 1 #5 (1961), says “This is the coming of ‘Monsteroso’ and on these pages you will be there to see it all!” It’s very well read, not in great condition, has a fold color-breaking crease and a rough left bottom corner that maybe something nibbled on.

Top Shelf Friday - Finally Finding The Issue You Needed To Complete A Run Edition The Witching Hour 65. Found this while on our trip to Minneapolis. I now have the entire run of the series, 1-85. Kind of sad to see this one come to a close. It was a fun series to track down.

What an incredible Hulk collection! I only have five non-Byrne issues, but I found this in a $2 box a few years ago. Maybe my fave comic book fight! Saw it in OriginsOfMarvelComics in the 70s and little Me was amazed that a fistfight could result in tidal waves and devastating mass destruction.

I found a 102 in an old abandoned house in the woods back in 1991. I was very pleased to learn it was a key issue when they changed from Tales to Astonish. Years later I traded it for Hulk 181. I found over 1000 comics that day and there was a lot of good stuff in that lot. Like finding treasure.
