I was a BIG proponent of CHAD POWERS season 1 (see posts below), when no one seemed to be watching. I've gotta admit, I've found S2 fairly lackluster. But episode 4 was clever and REALLY funny. (1-3 weren't bad, they just weren't as hysterical as S1. Hopefully it REALLY picks up again now!)

Happened upon 2007 Marvel mini SILENT WAR—making the INHUMANS *far*more interesting than they've been since Crystal sat in for Sue on the FF. Pt 2 of an *unfinished* trilogy; subsequent writers & stories FULLY IGNORED it, leaving them in a disappointing state of status quo (far as I'm aware) since.

In this final story in The Muppets Take The Marvel Universe comic, The Avengers are looking for new recruits. Writer and artist (see final pic below) really GET The Muppets... and handle Fozzie's exuberance and personality PERFECTLY here. And the comic timing/pacing the artist creates is also great.

For a moment there, I thought STUART FAILS TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE didn't nail the landing... then there was a minor twist that revealed.... INDEED THEY HAD! Altho' the lack of Sheldon, Leonard, & Wolowitz, when mentioned SO often in the show, IS disappointing. Still: Highly recommended!

The all-star cast of Dan Stevens, CCH Pounder, Stephen Root, & Judith Light can't make the nonsense that is AMC's DEVIL IN SILVER any good. Meant to be a thriller, or perhaps horror, it's just a string of tropes and supposed hints to a bigger story as the script finds excuses for things to happen.

If you're re-releasing #AVENGERS:ENDGAME -- Fix the big Ant-Man error at the end; improve the f/x in the climax so it doesn't just feel like everyone is running around on a set (can that be fixed?). I love this movie. All the script complaints I saw at the time just meant people weren't listening.

The ONLY disappointing thing about The Muppets Take Marvel is that, in the first story, not a single Muppet character talks or acts the way they should. I struggled through that one (the art is gorgeous), but the rest of the book IS good! 2nd and 3rd stories are PERFECT Muppets. The rest very cute.
