I do think it's possible to critique the undoubted pathologies of increasingly financially stretched media outlets taking too easy shortcuts via lobby group tipoffs and press releases without sounding like this, but is it possible for nzpol bsky specifically to do this? Not entirely sure.

After intensive discussion I have concluded that it is necessary to build an entire Potemkin internet exactly as it appeared in 2005. You get Wikipedia, forums, news sites, whatever, but no short form video, social media, or AI. When you graduate college you get the password to the real Internet.

Absolutely *fascinating* the illustration here of the difference in priorities between NZME investigative journos (who are pretty universally excellent) and NZME gallery luminaries. Look what each thinks the big ACT news is. I know who I think serves us better.

From those platforms, one thing you might get to see at Maungawhau that you won’t at any other station on the network is some train on train action: one train passing above the main platform.

Meanwhile, there's still no plan for Point Chev town centre, 50 metres from the edge of a site that will eventually house an additional 12,000 people. MHUD is a brick wall and council is hamstrung. The "heritage people" are hardly the villains here.
