Democrats who score low in racism and sexism will vilify and dehu-
manize Republicans because they consider Republicans to be racist and
sexist. In other words, the people who are the most “polarized” in the
U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who op-
pose racists and sexists.

Amidst cutbacks at the New York Times, it appears the Oxford comma has been laid off.

NYT headline which reads: The ICC issues arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Natanyahu, a former Israeli Defense minister and the Hamas military chief.

There should be a comma after Defense Minister to make it a list of three people. It has no Oxford comma before the and so it reads as though Netanyahu is both a former Israeli Defense Minister and the Hamas military chief.

NEWS: I’m told Speaker Mike Johnson has committed to Nancy Mace that he will not allow biological men in women’s bathrooms & locker rooms in the Capitol next year, by adding a provision in the House Rules package.

Mace is still reserving the right to file it as privileged resolution or amend it if that doesn’t happen though.
