Spooky Season has officially begun, and we’re kicking things off with a three-headed ferret.

OK, technically it’s three black-footed ferrets, but October calls for a little imagination.

Once thought to be extinct, black-footed ferrets are one of North America’s rarest mammals. At the National Black-footed Ferret Conservation Center, staff work to breed and recover these endangered little creatures and return them to the wild.

Cute? Absolutely. Three-headed monster? Only in October.

Was at the Cumberland Fair last night and noticed the Rs once again had a strong presence there (with yard signs!) @mainedems.bsky.social why do you cede the fair to them? There has never been an equivalent booth by the Dems in my memory. This seems so easy ….

I’m a Mainer. When I read nat’l media coverage, I think they have no clue what’s going on on the ground here. Those I know who support him are unwavering, based on his policies. Not a single poll—none—shows anyone beating Collins except Platner. Mills will lose the general if nominated.

Once upon a time there was a 3rd Dem in this race (Jordan Wood) who is smart & experienced & a wonk & wants to tax millionaires & end citizens united and create single payer healthcare, but he moved over to the CD2 race once it became all this I guess I just hope Platner is better than he seems

There are a surprising number of people in politics + media who don't understand that nuclear launch authority rests solely with POTUS. Trump doesn't need clearance from Congress or the courts.
