The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

I have to keep saying this. Trans rights are very unpopular on face but extremely sensitive to persuasion and question wording. In other words very few people care deeply about them, one way or another. Electorally, there is no advantage or penalty for Democrats to take one way or another.

Not everyone knows a trans person but every trans person knows trans people. And we hear first hand stories like a kid with a puberty blocker implant who no longer has a doctor who can provide care to a minor—in a blue state. Met 2 trans-plants from Texas who lost jobs and health care. 1/2
