Reminder: You can just…do stuff. You don’t have to wait for your boss to tell you to. You don’t have to wait to be told you’re good enough. As long as you’re not hurting anybody, and especially if doing it would help somebody… you can just do it.

Look I have zero excuses for this, but the idea popped into my head and now it's in your head, sorry
A six panel comic. In panel 1, a yellow warbler says "Hey, so I'm going to go out on a limb here". For the next four panels, it hops down along a branch. In the last panel, at the end of the branch, it sings a little song. I'm sorry.

Turns out my Dad is in league with Stephen King - in terms of mis-sung song lyrics. Have spent 15 years+ hearing "Lay your tiny wings upon my shoulder" instead of "Grant my last request and just let me hold you". Pretty sure my Dad knows they aren't the words but never stops him...

Saw Wicked this afternoon, went back to my parents' and my sister and I serenaded the cat with personalised versions of the songs. She had this deadpan look the entire time, not sure she was impressed, but at least she didn't run away...

In the UK disabled women are nearly twice as likely to experience sexual violence than non disabled women. This is why I’m asking men to be aware of how they approach a situation where a disabled woman may need assistance. Be the aware safe nice helpful dude in your approach, actions & words.
