saw a published review of a book w/ a chapter i co-wrote. my chapter challenged traditional academic structures & the expectation of mindless format reproduction, arguing insistence on mimicry stifles creative thinking the review was formatted oddly as partial poem - an ode to that honored. moved.

I did some very rough calculations using the latest @gamediscoverco.bsky.social data set. Valve's lifetime revenue, since Steam launch, is roughly $100B. If Valve made $0 from every game that made $100K or less they would "lose" $0.5B, the cost of 1 mega yacht. At $1M that number is about $2B
