One app I use for tutoring has this always-shown startup animated graphic that annoys the shit out of me because they cross-fade from a vague liquid animation to their company logo rather than having someone open goddamn adobe after effects and just make the liquid animation produce their logo.

I think one of the biggest indicators of undisclosed genAI usage in games is a lack of unified artistic vision. When one part of your game looks almost lavish in the quality and attention to detail then it transitions into something that looks outdated and ugly, I immediately smell a rat.

I want crimes and civil convictions involving corporations to start including share issuance for the harmed parties. I understand WHY it's said but you can't really be "good" at History. You can be "bad" at it, in the sense you conceptually know certain events happened but can neither place them in time nor compare them adequately, but you can't be "good" at it; Historical insight is incommeasuably contextual.

When I privately tutor, one shocking thing for my students is how I flow between subjects with unexpected agility and joy. I'll take five minutes to talk about the history of Isaac Newton as I explain how he arrived at differential calculus through physics. That holistic learning is alien to them.
