For #AncientSiteSunday the #Hellenistic theatre at Pergamon, #Türkiye, built in the 3rd century BC, alterations were made in the #Roman period. It's one of the steepest known ancient theatres. The capacity was about 10,000 spectators. 📷️ C. Bredfeldt 🏺
A full shot of the ruins of an ancient theatre, located on a hillside.  The theatre's steep tiered seating structure is clearly visible, constructed of light gray stone blocks, weathering evident in various tones. The hillside surrounding the theatre is covered with grass, creating a contrast between the man-made stone structures and the natural landscape. Sections of crumbling stone walls and foundations are scattered throughout the grassy slopes.

That last sentence is a pretty clear "If I'm being pro-Palestinian I should be allowed to be as antisemitic as I like". (Which is a fairly consistent theme of arguments I've had with some more extreme accounts here)

It is incredible that people like Syed who are expert in absolutely nothing, apart from table tennis and hobby racism, should have a platform in the Times and on the BBC.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'll believe that fuel is too expensive when I don't routinely see people parked up in their cars with the engine running.

The trouble is that we have a bad habit, encouraged by pedants and sophisticates, of considering happiness as something rather stupid. Only pain is intellectual, only evil interesting.

Disappointing that BBC Scotland's 'Sacked In The Morning' could not have interviewed Alan Rough in the 'Alan Rough Lounge' at Firhill. But you can't have everything I suppose.

6-0 and still none of the England players who scored are English, apparently. I would like to see Braverman made to answer questions about this state of affairs.

1. Tonight at Gillette Stadium, Zach Bryan, one of the biggest country music artists in the world, wore a Free Palestine shirt onstage. Gillette Stadium is owned by Robert Kraft, who pushed Ed Sheeran and his promoter to drop Macklemore from his tour. Bryan isn’t just a major country artist.
