7 years ago, when Rory had his first birthday, Sylvester McCoy sent him a message, filmed, randomly, by Paul Chuckle. Since then, Rory and Sylvester have met in person and Rory is joyously greeted with a "Rrrrrrory!" when he's spotted. It's one of the many, many reasons I adore McCoy. #DoctorWho

60 years ago this week, the original mechanical Rover fell into the sea, sank and was replaced at the last minute by a weather balloon. The rest is Prisoner history. To celebrate, Rory and Ellis went to Portmeirion beach earlier this year to see who could escape the Village.

For those who have been following this account since our Twitter days, it'll be no surprise to learn Rory is now 8 years old. Neither his mum or dad (or Colin the House Dalek) are ready for it though.
