The image is of a four panel comic.
In the first panel we see a dragon sitting on a pile of treasure. A speech bubble pointing off panel reads, “Dragon, why do you have all this treasure?”
In the second panel we zoom in on the dragons face. He simply says “shiny”.
In the third panel we pan to the left and see that there is a crow standing next to the dragon on the treasure.
In the fourth panel we zoom in on the crows face. He says “hell yeah”.

Third episodes are now the most experimental place on TV
It used to be that shows saved their fireworks for their penultimate episodes. But the way TV is made and watched today necessitates some earlier flash.

I'll add some nuance here — most local pushback against data centers is actually quite fluent, and not grounded in the more wild-eyed rhetoric you see on social media. Very often, the core premise is a simple, correct one: you can't trust what Big Tech says in its promises to a local community.

Worth shouting out that, even as somebody who loved Geoff Johns’ “Green Lantern”, but who doesn’t think Johns’ strength was characterising his lead, “Lanterns” has the best work I’ve seen done with Hal Jordan since Darwyn Cooke’s “New Frontier.” Kyle Chandler is incredible.

“Lanterns” is phenomenal. A series that asks what it means to be “chosen”, and who gets the privilege of living “without fear.” Big, bold, ambitious stuff. Maybe a shade shy of Lindelof’s “Watchmen”, but handily the best superhero project of the year. If not the last few years. Loved it. So much.

“Across the Spider-Verse” makes this conception of superheroism the villain of the film: the heroes who form paramilitary squads with masks as their badges and who protect the “status quo” without any questioning of the underlying morality. And that’s legitimately great.

O’Hara and his “elite strike force” are a pretty good representation of the post-9/11 MCU-derived paradigm as superheroes as cops. Hell, Gwen’s Spider-Man mask is likened to her father’s badge at one point, in case you don’t get the metaphor. His resignation mirrors hers from O’Hara’s force.

Superheroes are basically law enforcement or military units in so many of these movies. Hell, that’s explicitly what O’Hara is in “Across the Spider-Verse.” He’s a continuity cop. He even pins a young minority teenager to the ground and tells him that he doesn’t “belong” there.

Anyway, since 9/11, the paradigm has shifted. Secret identities are less important. Outside of Peter Parker, how many MCU heroes even have secret identities? Instead, they join paramilitary forces. They are (“winter”) soldiers who fight in (“civil”/“infinity”) wars. They fight huge battles.

One of the things that I love about “Across the Spider-Verse” is that it’s a text very overtly about what superheroes should be and who they belong to. Which is something that fascinated me as a superhero fan. “Across the Spider-Verse” has very strong, very thoughtful opinions.
