I put together my first Gunpla model a few days ago. It's a VERY basic set (no glue or paint needed) that only took, like, 30-40 minutes to assemble, but it's got a neat history. It's the RX-78-2 Gundam (Revival Ver.), a modern-day update of the very first Gunpla from 1980.

I don’t know if i can say enough good stuff about this kit, it looks fantastic, the build is satisfying and it’s even posing well! It’s designed so well that the stand adapter is hidden away in the backpack. I absolutely recommend this and I’ll be getting more MGSDs too lol #gundam #gunpla

So I did my first oil change on my BRZ tonight and it turns out part of my exhaust is not stock lol. Luckily it still has a catalytic converter in it and it doesn’t sound like it’s hollow, but that’s an exciting find! A bit less exciting was the blown sway bar bushing but oh well

I’m building this the same way I do with other MGs and RGs where I build the frame first then put the armor on top of it. So far I really like it! There’s lots of color separation and the articulation seems to be pretty good and I painted the eyes and sensors chrome #gundam #gunpla

I really like how well the panel lining shows up on the light orange, it did take a couple tries to get all the gaps in the hoses to look right. The monoeye is also painted fluorescent pink instead of using the sticker. #gundam #gunpla

I’m on such a roll with building really good kits recently and I’m going to keep it going by building the new Gouf Ignited! This is the one kit from the old HGSeed line that I always wanted and couldn’t justify spending $80+ on an HG from a line that’s frankly not as good as the HGUC kits #gunpla
