Badenoch expected to announce plan to tax homeless people, drag-acts & squirrels to fund free silk underwear for anyone earning over £500,00 a year.
The current leader of the Conservative Party bravely walking downstairs, something which if considered very brave considering the heightened reports of squirrel activity in the UK which is now at "Level Walnut" for the first time since records began.

Wow - Just WOW! A Chris Mason ‘précis’ of Tory plan to cut inheritance tax because it’s the most disliked tax in the UK No “& how will they pay for that?” moment from Chris Mason … of course not, merely a reference to it being ‘responsibly costed’ Well that’s fine then #R4today

Why focus on Inheritance tax paid? Because it’s paid by mostly Tory voters But because it’s unpopular, ‘most disliked tax in UK’ So please don’t be conned by BBC’s servile reports the Tories are moving beyond the populist culture wars #R4Today

The optics are grim - cutting benefits to fund childcare for those earning over £100,000, coupled with an ineffective “iron dome” and scrapping the EA. If this were an A-level politics student’s draft manifesto, it would be torn to shreds... #r4today #bbcbreakfast

Apart from taking even more money from low income and disabled people and giving it to people earning over £100k, I’m at a loss to understand what ideas Badenoch actually has 🤷🏼‍♂️ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Battle of ideas looming in British politics, Badenoch to say
The Tory leader has been seeking to reframe the way the public views her party, which has yet to recover in the polls since the last election.

If you are on the right then publications like The Spectator know that their close association with many of the #r4today presenters means their rank hypocrisy regarding the Arday/Orr affair will never be brought up or if it is then any discussion will be controlled and mediated by their friends.

The question never asked on #r4today is why the UK only needed about 35 food banks in 2010 but by the time the Tories left office in 2024 that number had grown into the thousands. One might think that presenters and editors were completely untouched/uninterested about hunger in the UK.

Badenoch on #R4Today claiming the Tories’ problems started with the Coalition when they “had to make compromises” and were perceived as “not proper Conservatives”. Cameron/Osbourne absolutely steamrollered the Lib Dems, got all they wanted, and left Clegg &c. as patsies. What is she on?
