Update: Now Post-Tropical Storm Rachel has made landfall along northern Baja CA north of Ensenada. San Diego is thus spared brunt, but bands of torrential rainfall & severe thunderstorms are occurring from CA's Imperial Valley eastward into AZ, w/serious flash flood threat. #CAwx

This is fucking hilarious. YouTube demonetized my video on Carleton Gajdusek, not because he was a pedophile but because for four seconds I show a historic photo of the Fore people, which includes a single female titty www.patreon.com/rebecca/post...

Another person I thought was pretty cool ended up in the Epstein files and I was like AHHH but it turns out they‘re still cool.
Screenshot from IMDB trivia page for Young Adult (2011): “ Patton Oswalt is listed in the Epstein Files after Jeffrey Epstein arranged a screening of Young Adult for a bunch of his friends. Patton credits this movie for ruining Jeffrey's night because there is a nude scene in the movie and it's of himself.”

This is the report Gender Criticals don't want you to see and they want to censor with legal threats. It also proves how anti feminist the gender critical movement is since a good portion of the report documents anti abortion groups tied to far right Christian fundamentalists.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

The issue is that nonpartisan, independent, and fact-based (good goals for journalism) have been replaced by centrist and equally critical of both parties, neither of which are journalistic principles. So confronted with a radical wing of the GOP, legacy media invents equally radical Dems.

I still don't think some people understand that Bad Bunny really is one of the few truly GLOBAL superstars we have now (in the way of Michael Jackson). I have a friend who lives in Germany who attended his concert a few days ago. It was sold out of course and people were singing all of the songs.

Your regular reminder women get more time for killing their abusers than men do for killing their victims. Remember that before you flippantly tell women to just get a gun, just learn self-defense, to dismiss & silence their critique of domestic abuse.

They should make some movies with positive representations of liminal spaces. Like when you work at a convenience store and you can go in the walk in behind the drinks. You can smoke back there and steal sodas. Why don't they show that on the movies

YOU - "Give me a moment. I got this. Let's try *again*"
KIM KITSURAGI - "An appropriate attitude." He withdraws his hand and looks you in the eye:
"You need to get your shit together."
YOU - "But I don't wanna get my shit together!"
KIM KITSURAGI - "Then the world will turn away from you, and leave you behind."

ProPublica spoke to dozens of people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.” We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words. ➡️ This is what they wrote: propub.li/4veRIqA
Handwritten notecard. Prompt at the top asks: What object was most devastating for you to lose, and how have you been coping? Answer below: Dentures. Were thrown away and coping isn't somthing I can do. It’s made me feel ugly, unworthy, can’t go get a job with no teeth. So how can get off the streets until another pair can be made?

You're not supposed to say this, but conservatives hate HPV vaccines because they think that removing the risk of cervical cancer from sex incentives women to be sluts. It's been a Christian thing since way before RFK Jr. was around, everybody knows what it's about, but you have to pretend not to.

Our water is too valuable to waste. Yet more than 500 planned data centers are headed to drought-stricken areas. We deserve a say before our water is handed over to these corrupt bigshots.
Infographic from The Guardian comparing the locations of operational and planned data centers in the United States against drought conditions. The headline states that of 809 planned data centers in the U.S., 517 are in locations that experienced drought conditions during the past year. Two stacked charts show drought severity levels ranging from moderate to exceptional. The left chart shows 601 operational data centers, with 392 located in drought-affected areas. The right chart shows 809 planned data centers, with 517 located in areas classified as drought-stricken over the past year. The graphic highlights that a majority of both existing and planned data centers are situated in regions facing water stress. Source cited as Cleanview data as of May 18, 2026.
