I have both Tricare and VA healthcare. I only have Tricare because I need to buy it for myself in order to get Tricare coverage for my kids. I got this really confusing letter from the VA yesterday that was basically trying to trick me into signing that I wanted Tricare as my primary insurance.

Reached a middle aged milestone last night where I had dropped my kid off for an activity that was just long enough that going home didn't really make sense so with an hour or so to burn I drove over to the fancy grocery store that never seems to have customers and marveled at the produce displays.

I've been staying away from the Cornell story because I've been a sexual assault victim who didn't report because I knew there was an extremely low chance of it reaching the "beyond a reasonable doubt" threshold. I don't know how you solve that problem. Wishing the victim health and healing.

Took my kid's clarinet in to the musical instrument rental shop for a repair and I was very impressed by the employee pretending to know what they were looking at as they randomly pressed keys before saying "hmmm, yes, a job like this we are going to have to send it to a repair shop"
